The Quest for Every Beard Type

This guy is on quite a quest! I'm almost envious.

The Giant Burger

Oh man, this makes me sick just looking at it. Yet it's also sort of appetising.

Don't Always Follow Your GPS

This man nearly killed himself following the instructions of his GPS device. Sometimes I wonder...

The Birthday Paradox

Fitting in with the birthday theme today, I'm posting one of my favourite probability theories, the birthday paradox. It's really difficult to believe that there is a 50% that two people in a group of 23 share a birthday! Take a look:

Puppy Thursday!

This week's Puppy Thursday post is a video! Watch as a veritable army of puppies face off versus a a worried cat! Luckily for the cat, the puppies are too enchanted with their environment to attack the cat.

The 100 Greatest Movie Characters

Empire Magazine compiled a list of the top 100 film characters of all time based on a user poll. For the most part, I agree with this list. I was disappointed, however, that Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka did not make the list. What do you think of the list?

F*** My Life

You think your life is bad? Wait until you read some of these anecdotes (supposedly) written by real people! This site allows you to read and submit your own horror stories, and vote on whether you think the person writing the story deserved their fate or not. It's a lot of fun!

50 Strange Buildings of the World

Here's a list of 50 buildings with some odd design choices. I've only ever seen number 43, and my mum has visited number 5.

Microsoft Songsmith

So Microsoft put out this program called Songsmith, which I imagine is supposed to compete with Apple's GarageBand on some level. Among other features, it has the ability to create backing instrument tracks for vocal recordings. Of course, the Internet had commandeered Songsmith for comedic purposes. Now you can listen to your favourite tracks remixed into different genres (and sometimes even different time signatures)! Some of "the best" are listed on this post, but if you click around on Youtube's suggestions, you'll find a ton more.
